Located in Old Montreal, Place Royale is a stunning public square of the city. We suggest discovering its history by taking the audio tour narrated by our expert guide.

This small urban square is a gem if you are visiting Old Montreal. Its current name was established in 1930 after French navy captain Jean Vauquelin, whose state can be found at the heart of the square.

The Bonsecours Market, or Marché Bonsecours in French, was erected in 1847 and originally served as the Parliament of United Canada. Currently, it houses restaurants, art galleries, and many other boutiques.

Then Basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal is one of the most important landmarks of the city, and you cannot miss it if you are taking our Montreal walking tours. Its structure was designed in 1824 by James O’Donnell, and its interior has to be included in your visit.
