About 🔎

Let’s explore the oldest part of London together. I’m Alex, a registered Blue Badge Tourist Guide - welcome to one of my favorite areas to guide people, the City of London. It has an incredible 2000 year history, and the stories - as you might imagine - are amazing. This tour is not for the faint hearted - we look at body snatching and executions, displaced ghosts and meat markets, crime and punishment, and there are weird and wonderful stories around every corner. We trace the steps of the locals from Farringdon to Bankside, passing by Smithfield Market and St Paul’s Cathedral, finishing with crossing the river at the end of the tour. This tour will take approximately 2.5 hours, not including breaks or visits that you may want to do on your own.
